NRCS New Employee: The Natural Resource Conservation Services has recently hired Logan Dugger to assist with the heavy work load here in Carroll County. Logan has worked for NRCS for a little over two years as a Soil Conservationist. Logan has experience with conservation planning and implementing practices on land uses such as pasture, crops, forestry, and confined animal operations.
He has been part of a team of conservationists in North Carolina where they covered six counties with a diverse set of duties. His experiences are highlighted by supporting and managing EQIP and CSP applications and contracts, conducting HEL determinations and assistance with EWP after the hurricanes this past year in counties towards the eastern part of the state. He was born and raised on cattle farm in Smyrna, and graduated from MTSU. He and his wife purchased a new home here in Carroll County. We are very proud to have Logan as part of our conservation team!
