Welcome Carroll County (Huntingdon Field Office) NRCS Soil Conservationist Samantha Barrow. We are very proud to have Samantha, She is excited to be back home and has already hit the ground running and eager to serve the community!
My name is Samantha Barrow. I’m an Atwood, TN native. I graduated from West Carroll Jr./Sr. High School back in 2015. I went to Jackson State Community College for my Associate’s Degree in Plant and Soil Science. Then, I transferred to UT Martin and received my Batchelor’s Degree in Natural Resource Management in 2019. I started as a Pathways intern with the NRCS at the end of my Junior year of college, and worked part time during my senior year of college. I interned in Lexington, TN and Trenton, TN. After college, I was converted to a full time employee in Dickson, TN. I stayed in Dickson for almost 4 years, before coming back home.
I have been very blessed with some wonderful coworkers in every office I have worked in, and I am excited to have a new beginning right here in my home county.
