The Carroll County SWCD enjoys participating in outreach for our community. We offer Agri Drain products to help with that project you need to get done, Haybuster No-till drills to help get that seed in the ground, the district also gives scholarships to high school seniors who has plans of furthering their education in Agriculture or ag related field, when invited we participate in AgDay event at the school, we participate in Annual tree day give-a-way in honor of Arbor Day. Throughout the year the CCSWCD receives requests for the demostration of the Enviroscape for a variety of events including classroom projects. Equipment Rental
The Haybuster Drill has an 10’ span with 3 different bins for different types of seed.
The drill’s primary use is for planting Native Warm Season Grasses, wildlife food plots, small grains, and pasture/hay seedings.
The rental rate is $8.00/acre in Carroll County $10.00 acre outside of the county or a $50.00 minimum.
20 ac. X $10.00 = $200.00
5 ac. X $10.00 = $50.00 which means the amount due is $100.
We do require a $100.00 Deposit and proof of Insurance.

Enviroscape
Enviroscape is a scaled down model of a watershed that enables students to visually learn about stormwater runoff, water pollution, water quality, watersheds, and personal stewardship through a speaker led presentation. Throughout the year the CCSWCD receives requests for the demostration of the Enviroscape for a variety of events including classroom projects.
